Its frustrating to have windows pop the dialog box asking you to restart windows right after it has installed the the updates.
You can put it to sleep, until your mind/code is stable enough to give windows the much needed break, by executing this command net stop "Automatic Updates" via command prompt or WinKey + R and put that command there. See illustration below :
